How to Live a No Excuse Life

April 27, 2015 2 Comments

“When you are interested in doing something, you do it only when it is convenient. When you are committed to something you accept no excuses.” – Ken Blanchard

No Excuces 2 Our daily lives are so full of noise and distractions. A lot of that noise is just the stuff of life. We need to work, pay bills, take the kids to school, plan for retirement, mow the lawn, go to the dentist, continue to learn and the list goes on and on. Our must do list never ends. Then if you are like me, there are all the things we willing add to our lives – the things we “want” to do.

Most of all there is the dream we have for something more. It is a dream that is far beyond just the stuff of life. For many years the stuff of life continued to pile up and my dreams were pushed further and further back until it seemed like some distant memory. Our life should not be like this.

To bring our dreams to life will take a lot of prayer but it will also take a drastic commitment on our part. We have to make resolute decisions that keeps the dream moving forward. Excuses are no longer accepted.

 No excuses

  • “I am too tired”
  • “I don’t have enough time”
  • “I don’t have enough money”
  • “I don’t know how”
  • “No one will help me,” etc.

We must have a bulldog commitment where we will not let go of our dreams. (Click to Tweet)

More than likely our dreams are more than just something for ourselves. They are dreams we have for our families and our community. We have a dream to leave a lasting imprint on this world.

We need to go All In for our God given dreams. Sure the stuff of life will still need to get done but we need to be tenacious about the things we can say yes and those which we should say no. We must focus on moving forward.

Commit with me today to live a no excuse life. Today is the perfect day to take that next step toward living out your dream. That step may be huge or it may be small- but take it. Excuses are not allowed.

What excuses do you need to quit making to realize your God given dreams?
