Be The One

September 29, 2014 5 Comments

So much screams our attention life can be overwhelming. It is easy to get carried away in the flow of the masses. However, success is out on the edges. Success is never found playing it safe and taking the easy road.

Be the One

Be the one:

  • Be the one to run to the rescue when others run from the hard task.
  • Be the one to plant the flag on the peak when others stop short of the summit.
  • Be the one to prove them wrong when others say you can’t, you aren’t good enough, you don’t have the talent and it can’t be done.
  • Be the one to stand firm when others choose to compromise their values and core principles.
  • Be the one to stand up for those being bullied and oppressed when they can’t stand for themselves.
  • Be the one to lead the way when others have lost hope and have lost their way.
  • Be the one to give yourself permission. Don’t waste your time and talent on waiting for someone to give you permission.

Above all:

Jesus was the one who came to earth to give us eternal life. So let us be the one to take Him to the world.

“The LORD looked down from his sanctuary on high, from heaven he viewed the earth, to hear the groans of the prisoners and release those condemned to death.” So the name of the LORD will be declared in Zion and his praise in Jerusalem when the peoples and the kingdoms assemble to worship the LORD. – Psalm 102:19-22

About the Author:

I am enthusiastic about helping others discover their purpose and grow into a deeper relationship with Jesus. It is great to see their eyes light up at their “Ah Ha!” moment when they discover they were created for something more. My hope is that this blog will help encourage and inspire you along your way. Join the conversation and take the time to share with me your own story. I have been married to my beautiful wife Janice for over 30 years. We currently live in McDonough Georgia with our daughter. Our two boys have left the nest and we have two wonderful grand kids. Of course we cannot forget about our dog Bear.
